My love of teaching was first ignited by my mother, who taught during the desegregation of schools in the 1970’s. This has been a monumental factor in my teaching. I integrate the power of positivity into my teaching.

 

Great teachers connect to their students on an emotional level. We all remember how these teachers made us feel.Building those relationships with students, within the school , and the greater community is pivotal in letting students know they matter beyond the doors of the classroom. 

 

I am an animated wise-cracking teacher who uses humor to engage, make personal connections and establish trust among my students. Everyday creates a new chance for teachers to be  champions for our children. Don't talk about it, Be about it! No excuses, just results!
